About Dr. Britney Blair

Lover co-founder Dr. Britney Blair is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and board-certified in sexual medicine. Dr. Blair has had decades of experience providing sex therapy to individuals at her Clinic, based in California.
​
Dr. Blair has built her reputation as one of the leading sex therapists through global presentations, developing and leading workshops, writing book chapters, and publishing articles on both sleep and sexual medicine. She continues to be a Stanford consultant and is on the adjunct faculty at Stanford University Medical Center.

Why Lover?
​
During Dr. Blair’s first year of graduate school, she took a workshop on sexual health and was surprised and saddened to learn that roughly 50% of women and over 30% of men have a sexual complaint and many more say that they’re bored or curious and don’t have anywhere to turn for reliable support.
After completing her Doctoral degree in 2013, Dr. Blair founded The Clinic, now one of the largest clinics of Clinical Psychologists and Psychiatrists on the West Coast of America, that serves over 4,000 patients.
Since then, Dr. Blair has dedicated her life’s work to helping patients optimize their sexual wellness. Through Lover, Dr. Blair and her team have taken the exercises, techniques and expertise which were previously only available to a few thousand people each year, and made them accessible for millions of people globally.
